This mini-documentary was produced for the fall 2010 Essential Multimedia Skills Course final project and also to help in raising awareness of the “r-word” issue that is spreading across the country and world. This video was filmed on location at Roosevelt University (RU) in Chicago, IL. With RU’s social justice mission, this is an issue that vitally needs to be addressed and made aware on-and off-campus. Daniel is in his 3rd year at RU, a Special Olympics Illinois Athlete & Global Messenger, a college radio DJ, and the host and producer of the Special Chronicles Podcast(specialchronicles.com/).

***Please Note: This video does have a few audio glitches so please watch for the message in raising awareness of respect, acceptance, and unity.***
